Here's a new perspective on how to think of your life, and when you look at it this way, it makes the tough times easier to bear: think of your life like a book. A real page turner. Your age tells you the chapter you're on. When you're 5 years old, you're on Chapter 5, and so on. When something horrible happens, the book isn't over, it's just part of the story. You have to keep reading to know what happens next. Something good always happens as part of the story. It has to. That's how stories are written.
